During the last week of July, members of the Filipino community in Geneva were privy to the Fisherfolk-Movement . We met, mingled, and shared "just being Filipino" with them. There was a picnic with the members at Parc des Croppettes and a concert at Bains des Pacquis. Our fishermen friends were here for a cause. What happened to WTO "Talks" afterwards is something else. Ugnayang Bayan together with other civil organizations were there to witness history.
